Oyster News!  Our son, Scott Budden, has been diligently working on his oyster farm project for over three years and now has a million oysters in the water helping to clean up the Chester River. Chestertown Jazz Festival 2016

The Chestertown Jazz Festival for 2016 will be in full swing from Thursday, September 8 through Sunday September 11, 2016.  The artists Lineup includes: Gregor Huebner jazz quarter- El Violin Latino; Lena Seikaly from Washington, D.C., The Greg Hatza Organization; Giacomo Gates, and Chuck Redd & La Lucha.  Enjoy concerts, local food vendors and wine tastings!

Kent County Fair - July 21, 22 & 23, 2016

The local Kent County Maryland Fair - FUN FOR EVERYONE!  The fair features 4-H and community exhibits, animals, tractors, games, food and entertainment. The focus of the fair is agricultural education and providing educational opportunities for county youth. Different foods are featured each evening including a fish fry and pit beef on Thursday, pork bbq on Friday and chicken barbeque on Saturday. Kent County Fair Info

Chesapeake Bay Environmental Center

Eastern Shore Event!  The Chesapeake Bay Environmental Center in Grasonville, Maryland is home to 230 different species of birds, numerous trails and waterways.
