Maryland Eastern Shore Event - Set along the banks of the Chester River, the Annual ChestertownTea Party Festival  is a fun event giving a glimpse into Chestertown's colonial past. The main events are held on Saturday with street performances, artisans and crafts vendors, colonial parade, musicians, activities for kids and the main event - the Tea Toss Reenactment on the Chester River. Enjoy great local food, beer and wine. The 3rd Annual Great Chesapeake Balloon Festival will be held:

Friday & Saturday, August 1 & 2, 2014

The Easton festival will feature many events including at least 15 balloons and a giant walk-thru balloon for children and adults.  Two hot air balloons, tethered to the ground will offer rides up to 60 feet in the air.  After Sunset there will be a balloon 'glow'.  Premiering this year is a special shape balloon, “Eddie &  Rickenbacker” balloon featuring the history of Army aviation.  Visit this link for additional info More Balloon Festival

The Chesapeake Balloon Festival will be held in Easton on August 2-3, 2013.  Visitors can take passenger flights and enjoy other activities including the Balloon Glow.  There will be food and beverages available.  The public is invited to bring blankets and lawn chairs.  The event benefits the Talbot Paramedic Foundation.
