Cecil County Information
Cecil County wraps around the upper end of the Chesapeake Bay. The county is known for its horse farms, 18th century historic churches, covered bridges and taverns, as well as an extensive network of waterways.
Cecil County’s is situated midway between the metropolitan areas of Baltimore and Philadelphia and convenient to the I-95 corridor in northeastern Maryland. Offering the best of both worlds, Cecil County is primarily rural but has easy access to Philadelphia Airport and BWI airport.
Kent County Information
Kent County is the second oldest county in Maryland, founded in 1642 by settlers who named it for the county they left in England. It is situated in the northern part of the Eastern Shore and is primarily rural. The topography is generally flat through the mid-section of the county with steep slopes common along the Chesapeake Bay from Betterton to Tolchester. The total county population has changed little over the last 100 years. The population in 1998 was approximately 18,925 and is projected to reach 20,150 by 2010.

Queen Anne's County has lots to offer to nature lovers. One way to explore nature in the area is at the Chesapeake Bay Exploration Center, which is just north on Kent Narrows. Here you'll find a five hundred acre estuary where wildlife may be viewed up close from hiking trails, observation towers and blinds.
Queen Anne's County forms the "gateway" to the Eastern Shore and is characterized by relatively flat topography. Centreville is the County Seat for Queen Anne's County. Talbot County Information
