Queen Anne's County Information
Queen Anne's County offers water activities, nature trails and historic attractions. Centreville is the County Seat and has a rich history. The colonial period homes, Victorian dwellings and historic buildings encourage strolls around the town.
New Queen Anne's County attractions include several wineries. Travel north to Church Hill and you'll find Cassinelli Winery and Vineyards, a working family owned farm. Even farther north is Tillmon Island Wineries, a great place to kick back and sample some of the vino made on-site. Caiscia Vineyards, on Kent Island close to the Chesapeake Bay, is a perfect place to stop and taste locally aged samples.
The Chesapeake Bay Environmental Center (CBEC) is a 510 acre peninsula located on the Chesapeake Bay, just east of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge on Maryland's Eastern Shore. Four miles of land trails, canoe/kayak trails, two observation towers, two concealed observation blinds, and marsh boardwalks currently provide visitor's access to the varied habitats that are vital to the Chesapeake Bay ecosystem.
