The Plein Air Easton Art Festival is the largest and most prestigious juried plein air painting competition in the United States. The week of July 17-23, 2017 there will be 58 competing artists painting throughout Talbot County, Maryland and approximately 6,000-8,000 people participating in the festival throughout the week.

7th Annual National Music Festival

The National Music Festival at Washington College brings together world-class mentors and gifted apprentice musicians on the cusp of their professional careers. More than 150 musicians from all over the U.S. and 11 foreign countries will attend. All apprentices receive full scholarships.For two weeks each June, these musicians live and work together, presenting concerts — ranging from solo recitals to large symphony orchestra performances with chorus — and free open rehearsals for music lovers from all over the world.
